2015 X3. She likes it, but said driving it is weird because there is nothing to do while driving it. It’s her first automatic ever

I miss our old X3. It was an ‘11 but they didn’t really change them between ‘11 and ‘15. So much better than the Genesis my dad replaced it with.

I haven’t driven it yet but, if it’s like the other modern BMWs I’ve driven I’m sure it’s nice.

I remember you said it was too expensive to keep on the road. What happened with it?

It got stolen from the dealership we traded in at less than a week after we got rid of it.

She clearly needs a smartphone (if she doesn’t already have one), and Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook accounts to keep her occupied while driving now!

Bruh, BMW or nothing on that side of the family.

Not in ‘Murica.

Those cars are magic. I still can’t get over how terrible the CTS-V Coupes look though.

I don’t think his grandma actually got that. That said, I wouldn’t mind one, and I agree the looks on the coupe are atrocious.

YES! We need more grandmas with mouse ears, dog tongues, and flower tiaras.

Damn shes’s went from a CTS-V wagon, to a 335i, to an X3 in just 16 months.

F31 auto tho...?

My mom (64) got her first automatic last year. First time she ever drove an automatic in her life too. She disliked it and couldn’t handle it. There’s a manual parked in front of their house again now...

Damn that’s what I thought at first. Then I thought I’d check and saw some forum posts but didn’t bother reading what country they were in.

That’s such a European thing—is it a Honda? It seems they’re the elderly people’s choice over on the other side of the Atlantic...

It was a Mitsubishi. It’s been replaced by a Nissan. The elderly are tend to be the only ones (slight hyperbole) who buy Japanese vehicles.
Honda, like Subaru (bit unlike Toyota, Nissan, Suzuki and Mitsubishi), is such a niche brand with such a tiny market share that it’s unlikely someone owns one.
